My little garden!

I bought a few Geraniums that were on clearance at Walmart.. I can't ignore a good deal!

And then I always get clippings from neighbors, and random yards (I just take a LITTLE piece!) I got these geranium clippings from my Boss's neighbor, it was hanging over in his yard and I just grabbed one small piece and it has grown quite a bit and flowered!

And my Aloe vera plant has bloomed! Love it! The Bottom is a picture before it bloomed.

.

I finally figured out what this is called! Candytuft!

I still don't know what this is called though.. Some kind of lily for sure!

And my Calla lily!

I have posted this before, but since I am sharing my little garden this is a part of it:

I am on a mission to find good shade plants! I have a lot of shade in my yard, and want to have my flower beds filled up.

Junk store finds!

My mom and I found some good stuff at a Junk store that is located in a "bad" part of town, so we got good deals!

First up is the Gumball machine, and stand. I already had a gumball machine I paid ONLY $3 for, but I didn't have a stand. I found the stand today, and it came with another gumball machine that is missing the glass part.

I cannot wait to make this a fish bowl for my Betta, The Governor! And I am going to look for a store bought fish bowl that will fit in the other gumball machine and maybe make a terrarium or something out of it. Ill find something to do with it.

And we also bought this 1913 Whites Rotary sewing machine! My mom paid 40$ for it

It needs some work... But it IS a hundred years old!

And we randomly got this metal safety switch box. We can't figure out its original date made, but its old:
Don't know what we are going to do with it, but its pretty cool.

First foster kittens of the season

I always foster kittens during the spring, been doing it for 13 years now!

My mom works at a Convalescent hospital, and there is a huge colony of feral cats that live there. Ive trapped a few and gotten them spayed/neutered. Some Visitors found a litter of kittens in the front bushes and were carrying them around the building and taking pictures of them. My mom collected them all, and called me. I started bottle feeding (An every 2 hour commitment!), but I luckily was able to find a mother cat with kittens the same age who needed a place to go so I took her and her 5 kittens in.
Here is a picture I took of the 6 kittens from my mom's work place:
There are 3 boys, and 3 girls!

And one of my mom's dachshunds, Jannah, is very maternal and loves to help me with bottle babies:

And this is a picture of the mama cat and her 5 kittens before I got them:

I checked their sexes, but forgot to write it down and now I don't want to bother them! But I think there were 3 girls and 2 boys

When I first brought her in, I kept her babies separate and let her feed mine because they were very hungry! They were not eating the kitten formula very well:
I am having to do rotations with them because now she is nursing 11 kittens and that is a LOT for one mama to nurse! So to make sure all are being fed during the day I will be letting half of them nurse for a period of time, and then putting the other half in and letting them take turns. And then at night they can all stay in.
